The portal
A price reference before the quote
Labour price ranges for common construction and renovation work, country by country, trade by trade. Excluding materials and supplies, excluding heavy structural work.
Who the portal is for
For individuals who want to place a quote before committing, and for professionals looking for an order of magnitude comparable from one country to another. The portal does not connect anyone with a company and publishes no commercial offers: it publishes indicative ranges.
What the ranges cover
- 21 countries, 256 services
- 1280 documented ranges, adjustable by region or area.
- Labour only — Amounts cover installation, preparation and execution. Materials, supplies, equipment hire and travel are not included.
What the ranges do not cover
- materials and supplies, equipment hire, heavy scaffolding, travel, structural work and heavy building work.
- Materials, supplies and equipment hire are not included.
- Excluding structural work and heavy building work.
- Excluding complex scaffolding and difficult access.
Why a range and not a price
Two identical projects never cost exactly the same: condition of the substrate, accessibility, season, availability of contractors, region. A low–high range with a midpoint, a date and sources lets you judge a quote without pretending it is a fixed price.
VAT
A price is shown VAT included only when the applicable regime is established. Otherwise the interface says so explicitly.
Limits and transparency
These amounts are indicative and do not replace a quote. They are neither a commercial offer nor a price commitment. Each range shows its observation date, its confidence level and the public sources used.
